Whereas the Secretary of State has granted to AlphavisionCommunications Grim-Clee Limited on 16th January 1991 a licence ("the Licence") under section 7 of the Telecommunications Act 1984(1) ("the Act"), to which section 8 of the Act applies, for the running of thetelecommunication systems specified in Annex A to the Licence ("the Applicable Cabled Systems"):
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powersconferred on him by section 9 of the Act, hereby makes the followingOrder:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Public Telecommunication SystemDesignation (Alphavision Communications Grim-Clee Limited) (Grimsby andCleethorpes) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 23rd May 1991.
2. Each of the Applicable Cabled Systems is hereby designated as apublic telecommunication system.

The Secretary of State granted to Alphavision CommunicationsGrim-Clee Limited on 16th January 1991 a licence under section 7 of theTelecommunications Act 1984 to run the telecommunication systemsspecified in Annex A to that licence, in the whole of the Borough ofGreat Grimsby and the adjoining part of the Borough of Cleethorpes. Acopy of the licence was laid before Parliament on 25th April 1991. ThisOrder designates those telecommunication systems as publictelecommunication systems. Consequently, by virtue of section 9(3) ofthat Act, Alphavision Communications Grim-Clee Limited will be a publictelecommunications operator in respect of its Grimsby and Cleethorpespublic telecommunication systems when the Order comes into force on 23rdMay 1991.
A copy of the licence may be obtained from the Office ofTelecommunications, Export House, 50 Ludgate Hill, London EC4M 7JJ.
