Whereas the Secretary of State has granted to TelecommunicationsNetwork Limited on 7th February 1991 a licence ("the Licence") under section 7 of the Telecommunications Act 1984(1) ("the Act"), to which section 8 of the Act applies, for the running of thetelecommunication systems specified in Annex A to the Licence ("the Applicable Cabled Systems"):
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powersconferred on him by section 9 of the Act, hereby makes the followingOrder:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Public Telecommunication SystemDesignation (Telecommunications Network Limited) (Bromley) Order 1991and shall come into force on 23rd May 1991.
2. Each of the Applicable Cabled Systems is hereby designated as apublic telecommunication system.

The Secretary of State granted to Telecommunications NetworkLimited on 7th February 1991 a licence under section 7 of theTelecommunications Act 1984 to run the telecommunication systemsspecified in Annex A to that licence, in the whole of the London Boroughof Bromley. A copy of the licence was laid before Parliament on 25thApril 1991. This Order designates those telecommunication systems aspublic telecommunication systems. Consequently, by virtue of section9(3) of that Act, Telecommunications Network Limited will be a publictelecommunications operator in respect of its Bromley telecommunicationsystems when the Order comes into force on 23rd May 1991.
A copy of the licence may be obtained from the Office ofTelecommunications, Export House, 50 Ludgate Hill, London EC4M 7JJ.
