Whereas the Secretary of State has granted to Comment CablevisionNorth East Partnership on 26th April 1991 a licence ("the Licence") under section 7 of the Telecommunications Act 1984((1)) ("the Act"), to which section 8 of the Act applies, for the running of thetelecommunication systems specified in Annex A to the Licence ("the Applicable Cabled Systems"):
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powersconferred on him by section 9 of the Act, hereby makes the followingOrder:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Public Telecommunication SystemDesignation (Comment Cablevision North East Partnership) (Tyneside)Order 1991 and shall come into force on 3rd July 1991.
2. Each of the Applicable Cabled Systems is hereby designated as apublic telecommunication system.

The Secretary of State granted to Comment Cablevision North EastPartnership a licence on 26th April 1991 under section 7 of theTelecommunications Act 1984 to run the telecommunication systemsspecified in Annex A to that licence, in the Tyneside area. A copy ofthe licence was laid before Parliament on 5th June 1991. This Orderdesignates those telecommunication systems as public telecommunicationsystems. Consequently, by virtue of section 9(3) of that Act, CommentCablevision North East Partnership will be a public telecommunicationsoperator in respect of its Tyneside public telecommunication systemswhen the Order comes into force on 3rd July 1991.
A copy of the licence may be obtained from the Office of Telecommunications, Export House, 50 Ludgate Hill, London EC4M 7JJ.
