The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 54(2) and (3) of the Coal Mining Subsidence Act 1991(1), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Coal Mining Subsidence Act 1991 (Commence ment) Order 1991.
2. The provisions of the Coal Mining Subsidence Act 1991 "the Act" shall come into force on 30th November 1991.
3. Until 30th November 1992 section 34(1)(a) of the Act shall have effect as if the words "or deemed to have been published" were omitted.

This Order brings into force on 30th November 1991 all of the provisions of the Coal Mining Subsidence Act 1991.
The Order makes a transitional amendment to section 34(1) of the Act (preventive measures for new buildings etc.) in respect of the period prior to the operation of the notice procedure in section 35(2).
