This Order amends the Consular Fees Order 1989 to increase the fees for passports and to clarify the circumstances in which the fees for a 32 page and a 48 page passport are payable. The fee for issuing a 32 page passport is increased from £15 to £18 and that for a 48 page passport from £22.50 to £27. The fee for issuing a British Visitor's Passport goes up from £7.50 to £12; where such a passport includes particulars of a spouse the increase is from £11.25 to £18. The fee for issuing an excursion document for travel to France is increased from £2 to £3 and that for a collective passport from £30 to £40. The fee for amending a passport to add particulars of children goes up from £4 to £5; and the fees for amendments involving the holder's name, photograph or description are increased from £3 to £5.
