In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 37 of the Prison Act 1952(1) I hereby make the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Closure of Prisons (H.M. Young Offender Institution Lowdham Grange) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 1st January 1993.
2. The prison known as H.M. Young Offender Institution Lowdham Grange and situate in the county of Nottinghamshire shall close on the coming into force of this Order.

This Order provides for the closure of H.M. Young Offender Institution Lowdham Grange on 1st January 1993.
1952 c. 52. Section 37 was amended by paragraph 6 of Schedule 14 to the Criminal Justice Act 1982 (c. 48) and applies to young offender institutions by virtue of section 43(5) of the 1952 Act as amended by paragraph 1 of Schedule 8 to the Criminal Justice Act 1988 (c. 33).
