The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Secretary of State for Wales, acting jointly in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 1 of the Farm Land and Rural Development Act 1988(1) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, with the approval of the Treasury, hereby make the following Scheme:
1. This Scheme may be cited as the Farm Business Non-Capital Grant (Amendment) Scheme 1992 and shall come into force on 18th January 1993.
2. The Farm Business Non-Capital Grant Scheme 1988(2) shall be amended in accordance with paragraphs 3 and 4 below.
3. In paragraph 5, after sub-paragraph (1) there shall be inserted the following subparagraph:-
"(1A) The appropriate Minister shall not approve any feasibility study plan or marketing plan that is received by him after 17th January 1993.".
4. In paragraph 7-
(a)in sub-paragraph (2), the words from "and the eligible person" to the end of that sub-paragraph shall be omitted;
(b)sub-paragraph (5)(b) shall be omitted.

This Scheme varies the Farm Business Non-Capital Grant Scheme 1988 by introducing a closing date of 18th January 1993 for the submission of feasibility study plans and marketing plans for approval. This closing date applies to both new applications (paragraph 3) and also to the submission of feasibility study plans or marketing plans after withdrawing an approved plan (paragraph 4).
