The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 7(3) of the Offshore Safety Act 1992(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Offshore Safety Act 1992 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1993.
2. The following provisions of the Offshore Safety Act 1992 shall come into force on 30th November 1993, namely-
(a)section 3(1)(a) and (e) and (2); and
(b)section 7(2), so far as relating to the repeal in the Continental Shelf Act 1964(2).

This Order brings into force on 30th November 1993 all the provisions of the Offshore Safety Act 1992 which did not come into force on Royal Assent other than sections 2(3)(b) and (c), 3(3)(b) and 7(2) (so far as relating to the second repeal in the Gas Act 1986 (c. 44)).
