The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 2 of the Courts of Law Fees (Scotland) Act 1895((1)) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and with the concurrence of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Sheriff Court Fees Amendment Order 1993 and shall come into force on 1st April 1993.
2. In the Table of Fees in the Schedule to the Sheriff Court Fees Order 1985((2)) there shall be inserted after the entry at paragraph 25 the entry set out in the Schedule to this Order, as paragraph 25A.

This Order amends, from 1st April 1993, the Sheriff Court Fees Order 1985 as a consequence of the provisions of the Local Government Finance Act 1992. It inserts into the Table of Fees set out in the Schedule to that Order an additional paragraph, 25A, relating to the fee payable to the Sheriff Clerk in respect of a summary warrant for the recovery of arrears of council tax, council water charge and related penalties.
