Whereas it appears to the Secretary of State that the full-time equivalent enrolment number of the institution conducted by Norwich School of Art and Design Further Education Corporation(1) for courses of higher education exceeds 55 per cent of its total full-time equivalent enrolment number;
Now therefore the Secretary of State for Education, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 122A of the Education Reform Act 1988 (2), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Education (Norwich School of Art and Design Further Education Corporation) (Transfer to the Higher Education Sector) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 1st October 1994.
2. On the date on which this Order comes into force Norwich School of Art and Design Further Education Corporation shall cease to be a further education corporation and shall become a higher education corporation.

This Order makes provision for the transfer of Norwich School of Art and Design Further Education Corporation to the higher education sector. On 1st October 1994 that corporation becomes a higher education corporation.
Incorporated by the name of Norfolk Institute of Art and Design, Norwich under section 15 of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 (c. 13) by S.I. 1992/2097.
1988 c. 40; section 122A was inserted by section 74 of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992.
