The Secretary of State for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 66(3) of the Local Government (Wales) Act 1994 (1), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Wales) Act 1994 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1994.
2. The date appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Local Government (Wales) Act 1994 is 15th August 1994-�
Section 41 (continuity of employment in certain cases of voluntary transfer);
Section 52 (application of Part I of the Local Government Act 1988(2) during transitional period):Section 65 (expenses).
