1. This Order may be cited as the A550 Trunk road (Improvement between Deeside Park and Ledsham) (Detrunking) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 30th September 1994.
2. In this Order:
(a)"the new trunk roads" means the new trunk roads within the meaning of the A550 and A5117 Trunk Roads (Improvement between Deeside Park and Ledsham) and Connecting Roads Order 1994; and
(b)"the trunk road" means the A550 Trunk Road.
3. The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to be a trunk road from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies the Cheshire County Council that the new trunk roads are open to traffic.

The length of the A550 Trunk Road ceasing to be a trunk road is between a point 1.1 kilometres south of its junction with Parkgate Road and its junction with Ledsham Lane/Ledsham Hall Lane, a distance of 2.64 kilometres, and is shown by broad black dashes on the plan numbered HA 10/1CNW 337 marked "The A550 Trunk Road" (Improvement between Deeside Park and Ledsham) (Detrunking) Order 1994 signed by the Secretary of State for Transport and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London, SW1P 3PY.
