(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order revokes the Export of Goods (Control) (Croatian and Bosnian Territories) Order 1993 which prohibited the export of goods to the United Nations Protected areas of Croatia and those areas of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina under the control of Bosnian Serb forces except under the authority of a licence granted by the Secretary of State, in accordance with Resolution 820 (1993) of the Security Council of the United Nations adopted on 17th April 1993.
The prohibition on export of all goods to the United Nations Protected areas of Croatia and those areas of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina under the control of Bosnian Serb forces is now contained in the Former Yugoslavia (United Nations Sanctions) Order 1994 which also imposes further restrictions in relation to the Bosnian Serb controlled areas in accordance with Resolution 942 (1994) of the Security Council of the United Nations adopted on 23rd September 1994.
