In exercise of the power conferred upon him by section 6(3) of the Dangerous Dogs (Amendment) Act 1997(1), the Secretary of State hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Dangerous Dogs (Amendment) Act 1997 (Commencement) Order 1997.
2. The Dangerous Dogs (Amendment) Act 1997 shall come into force on 8th June 1997.

This Order brings the Dangerous Dogs (Amendment) Act 1997 into force on 8th June 1997.
