The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3(2), (4) and (7) of Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980(1), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after consultation with such associations of authorities to whom section 2 of that Act applies as appear to him to be concerned, hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government (Publication of Staffing Information) (England) (Revocation) Regulations 1999(2) and shall come into force on 1st June 1999.
2. The Local Government (Publication of Staffing Information) (England) Regulations 1995 are hereby revoked.

These Regulations revoke the Local Government (Publication of Staffing Information) (England) Regulations 1995 which require local and certain other authorities in England to publish information specified in the Local Government (Publication of Staffing Information) (England) Code 1995 in the manner and form, and on the occasions, specified in the Code.
