The Education (Bursaries for Teacher Training) (Revocation) (England) Regulations 1999

In exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by sections 50 and 63(3) of the Education (No. 2) Act 1986(1), the Secretary of State for Education and Employment hereby makes the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Bursaries for Teacher Training) (Revocation) (England) Regulations 1999 and shall come into force on 1st September 1999.

2. The Education (Bursaries for Teacher Training) Regulations 1994(2) and the Education (Bursaries for Teacher Training) (Amendment) Regulations 1995(3) are hereby revoked in relation to England.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations revoke the Education (Bursaries for Teacher Training) Regulations 1994 (S.I. 1994/2016) and the Education (Bursaries for Teacher Training) (Amendment) Regulations 1995 (S.I. 1995/603) in relation to England.

1986 c. 61; section 50 was amended by section 278(6) of, and paragraph 102 of Schedule 19 to, the Education Act 1993 (c. 35) (which continue in force by virtue of paragraph 65 of Schedule 37 to the Education Act 1996 (c. 56)) and section 13 of the Education Act 1994 (c. 30), and section 63(3) was amended by paragraph 107(a) of Schedule 19 to the Education Act 1993.
