POLICE

The Police Act 1997 (Commencement No. 9) Order 2002

  Made 22nd February 2002 

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 135 of the Police Act 1997[1], hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and extent
     1.  - (1) This Order may be cited as the Police Act 1997 (Commencement No. 9) Order 2002.

    (2) The Order extends to England and Wales.

Commencement on 1st March 2002
    
2.  - (1) The following provisions of the Police Act 1997 shall come into force on 1st March 2002.

    (2) those provisions are -

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order, which extends to England and Wales, brings into force on 1st March 2002 those provisions of Part V of the Police Act 1997, except section 112, which are not already in force together with an associated repeal.
