The East Sussex Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) and the Eastbourne Hospitals National Health Service Trust and Hastings and Rother National Health Service Trust (Dissolution) Amendment Order 2003

  Made 24th March 2003 
  Coming into force 1st April 2003 

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977[1], and by section 5(1) of, and paragraphs 1 and 3 of Schedule 2 to, the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990[2], hereby makes the following order:

Citation, commencement and interpretation
     1.  - (1) This order may be cited as the East Sussex Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) and the Eastbourne Hospitals National Health Service Trust and Hastings and Rother National Health Service Trust (Dissolution) Amendment Order 2003 and shall come into force on the 1st April 2003.

    (2) In this Order - 

Amendment to East Sussex Hospitals National Health Service Trust Establishment Order
     2. In article 3 of the Establishment Order, in paragraph (2), the words "Bexhill Hospital," shall be omitted.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order amends the East Sussex Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) and the Eastbourne Hospitals National Health Service Trust and Hastings and Rother National Health Service Trust (Dissolution) Order 2002.

Article 2 excludes Bexhill Hospital from the premises at or from which the East Sussex Hospitals National Health Service Trust provides health services.

This Order does not impose a charge on businesses.
