EMPLOYMENT

The Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004 (Commencement No.3) Order 2006

  Made 6th September 2006 

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 29(1) and (2) of the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004[1] makes the following Order:

Citation
     1. This Order may be cited as the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004 (Commencement No.3) Order 2006.

Provisions coming into force
    
2. The following provisions of the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004 come into force on 1st October 2006—

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order brings into force the provisions of the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004 specified in article 2 of the Order.

Sections 6(1) and 12 are in force in respect of agricultural work and processing or packaging. Offences in relation to gathering shellfish will be commenced at a later date.
