The A590 Trunk Road in the District of Barrow-in-Furness (From Junction with A5087 Hindpool Road to Junction with C6011 Park Road) (Detrunking) Order 2007

  Made 16th March 2007 
  Coming into force 1st July 2007 

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by sections 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980[1] and now vested in him—

     1. This Order may be cited as the the A590 Trunk Road in the District of Barrow-in-Furness (From Junction with A5087 Hindpool Road to Junction with C6011 Park Road) (Detrunking) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 1st July 2007.

    
2. In this Order—

     3. The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a principal road from the date on which this Order comes into force.

THE SCHEDULE

LENGTH OF THE TRUNK ROAD CEASING TO BE A TRUNK ROAD


The length of the A590 trunk road ceasing to be a trunk road is situated between its Junction with the A5087 Hindpool Road (marked "A" on sheet 1 of the plan) and its Junction with C6011 Park Road (marked "B" on sheet 2 of the plan) and is shown by broad black dashes on the plan, and is approximately 5.684 kilometres (3.5 miles) in length.
