Present,
The Queen´s Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon her by section 28(1) of the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004(1), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:
1.–(1) This Order may be cited as the Fire and Rescue Services (Appointment of Inspector) Order 2007 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.
(2) This Order applies in relation to the discharge of functions by fire and rescue authorities whose areas are in England only.
2. Sir Kenneth John Knight is appointed an inspector for the purposes of section 28(1) of the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004.
