Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 19 of the Maintenance Orders Act 1958(1), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows–
1. This Order may be cited as the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) (Revocation) Order 2008 and shall come into force on 19 June 2008.
2. "Jersey" shall be omitted from the First Schedule to the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Order 1959(2).

This Order revokes the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Order 1959 insofar as it extends the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Act 1920 to Jersey.
Jersey is designated as a reciprocating country for the purposes of Part I of the Maintenance Orders (Reciprocal Enforcement) Act 1972 by the Reciprocal Enforcement of Maintenance Orders (Designation of Reciprocating Countries) Order 2008 (S.I. 2008/1202), which comes into force on the same date as this Order.
