1. This Order may be cited as the A5117 Trunk Road (Parkgate Road Roundabout) (De-Trunking) Order 2009 and shall come into force on 26th June 2009.
2. In this Order-
(i) "the new trunk road" means the new highway which the Secretary of State is authorised to provide by the A550 and A5117 Trunk Roads (Improvement between the M56 and A548) and Connecting Roads Order 2006;(3)
(ii) "the trunk road" means the A5117 Trunk Road;
(iii) "the plan" means the plan numbered HA/10/MP/106, marked the A5117 Trunk Road (A540 Parkgate Road Roundabout) (De-Trunking) Order 2009 signed by the authority of the Secretary of State for Transport and deposited at the Department for Transport Information Management Division, Ashdown House, Sedlescombe Road North, St Leonards- on Sea, East Sussex, TN37 7GA; and
3. The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order and shown by broad hatching on the plan shall cease to be a trunk road from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies Cheshire County Council.

The length of the A5117 Trunk Road ceasing to be a Trunk Road (known locally as Parkgate Road Roundabout) is situated at the junction of the A540 Parkgate Road, the westbound off slip road from the A494,the new trunk road and the westbound on slip road to the A494, the new trunk road, shown by broad black dashes on the plan numbered HA/10/MP/106, marked "The A5117 Trunk Road (Parkgate Road Roundabout) (De-Trunking) Order 2009" signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport and deposited at the offices of the Highways Agency, City Tower, Piccadilly Plaza, Piccadilly, Manchester, M1 4BE.

This Order reclassifies the length of the A5117 Trunk Road known as Parkgate Road Roundabout situated at the junction of the A540 Parkgate Road, the westbound off slip road from the A494 and the westbound on slip road to the A494 so that it is no longer a trunk road but becomes a principal road.
