These Regulations amend the Childcare (Inspections) Regulations 2008 ("the principal Regulations") to alter the prescribed interval for certain childcare inspections. The effect of the amendment is to require Her Majesty´s Chief Inspector of Education, Children´s Services and Skills to inspect all early years provision to which regulation 3 of the principal Regulations applies once before 1st August 2012.
