The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(1) of the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975(1). In accordance with section 18(4) of that Act he has consulted with such persons as appear to him to be requisite.
1. This Order may be cited as the Safety of Sports Grounds (Designation) Order 2010 and shall come into force on 18th June 2010.
2. The sports ground specified in the Schedule to this Order (being a sports ground which in the opinion of the Secretary of State has accommodation for more than 10,000 spectators) is designated as a sports ground requiring a safety certificate under the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975.
