(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings into force on 1st July 2011 those provisions of the Bribery Act 2010 (c. 23) which were not brought into force on Royal Assent by section 19(2) of that Act.
Section 19(4) of the Bribery Act 2010 provides that the Secretary of State must consult the Scottish Ministers before making an order under that section in connection with any provision of that Act which would be within the legislative competence of the Scottish Parliament if it were contained in an Act of that Parliament.
