Her Majesty, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 2(1)(a) of Schedule 9 to the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009(1), makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Chief Regulator of Qualifications and Examinations Order 2011 and comes into force on 14th July 2011.
2. Amanda Spielman is appointed to chair the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation.

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order appoints Amanda Spielman to chair the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation, which is established under section 127 of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009. In accordance with paragraph 2(2) of Schedule 9 to that Act, the person appointed to that position is to be known as the Chief Regulator of Qualifications and Examinations.
