1. In this Order "the Trust" means the Churches Conservation Trust, "the Commissioners" means the Church Commissioners, "the 1983 Measure" means the Pastoral Measure 1983 and "the funding period" means the period specified in paragraph 2.
2. The funding period for the purposes of Part III of the 1983 Measure shall be the period beginning with 1st April 2012 and ending with 31st March 2015.
3. In respect of the funding period the total amount (comprising grants made under section 44(10) of the 1983 Measure and moneys allocated under section 52(1) of that Measure) to be paid by the Commissioners to the Trust shall be £4,065,000.
4. A payment on account of the sum specified in paragraph 3 shall be made to the Trust only when the Commissioners are satisfied that the payment is a portion of a specific sum of money needed by the Trust and that the balance of that sum will be paid to the Trust out of moneys provided by Parliament.
5. The Payments to the Churches Conservation Trust Order 2008(4) is hereby revoked.
6. This Order may be cited as The Payments to the Churches Conservation Trust Order 2011 and shall come into force on 1st April 2012.

This Order provides, in respect of the period from 1st April 2012 to 31st March 2015, that the total amount to be paid to the Churches Conservation Trust shall be £4,065,000, comprising grants made by the Church Commissioners and moneys allocated by them out of the net proceeds of sale or exchange of churches closed for regular public worship or of land occupied by them or net premiums for the grant of leases of such churches or land. The Order also provides that the total amount can only be paid if it is a proportion of a sum needed by the Trust and Parliament has approved the payment of the balance of that sum.
