The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
1. This Order may be cited as the Overseas Territories (Change of Name) (No. 8) Order 2011 and shall come into force on 14th January 2012.
2.-(1) Article 4 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1979 (Saint Helena) Order 1980(3) is amended by substituting for the words "St Helena and its Dependencies" the words "St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha".
(2) The Admiralty Jurisdiction (St Helena and its Dependencies) Order 1969(4) is amended by -�
(a)substituting for the words "St Helena and its Dependencies", wherever they appear, the words "St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha"; and
(b)substituting for the words "St Helena or its Dependencies", wherever they appear, the words "St Helena, Ascension or Tristan da Cunha";
and accordingly the Order may be cited as the Admiralty Jurisdiction (St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha) Order 1969.

This Order amends certain statutory instruments relating to shipping and admiralty jurisdiction to reflect the current name of the British overseas territory of St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha.
