The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 20(4) of the Chemical Weapons Act 1996(1), makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Chemical Weapons (Licence Appeal Provisions) (Revocation) (No. 2) Order 2013 and comes into force on 12th June 2013.
2.-(1) Subject to paragraph (2), the Chemical Weapons (Licence Appeal Provisions) Order 1996(2) is revoked.
(2) Paragraph (1) does not apply to a decision of the Secretary of State made before the coming into force of this Order-
(a)to refuse to grant, renew or vary a licence; or
(b)to vary or revoke a licence.
3. The Chemical Weapons (Licence Appeal Provisions) (Revocation) Order 2013(3) is revoked.

This Order revokes, with a saving, the Chemical Weapons (Licence Appeal Provisions) Order 1996 (S.I. 1996/3030). That Order made provision under section 20(4) of the Chemical Weapons Act 1996 (c. 6) with respect to appeals against the refusal to grant, renew or vary a licence or against a variation or revocation of a licence.
This Order also revokes the Chemical Weapons (Licence Appeal Provisions) (Revocation) Order 2013 (S.I. 2013/1045). That Order made provision repealing the Chemical Weapons (Licence Appeal Provisions) Order 1996 (S.I. 1996/3030) and was made and registered but was not printed.
A full regulatory impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
