The Lord Chancellor, after consulting the Lord Chief Justice, makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 92(6) of and Part 1 of Schedule 11 to the Children Act 1989(1).
1. This Order may be cited as the Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings (Amendment) Order 2013 and shall come into force on 25th March 2013.
2. Trowbridge County Court shall cease to be a family hearing centre.
3. Chippenham and Trowbridge County Court shall be a family hearing centre(2).
4.-(1) The Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings Order 2008(3) shall be amended as follows.
(2) In Schedule 1 omit the entry relating to Trowbridge County Court.
(3) In Schedule 1 after the entry for Chichester County Court insert-
(a)in the first column "Chippenham and Trowbridge County Court";
(b)in the second column "Yes".

This Order amends the Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings Order 2008. On 25th March Trowbridge County Court will cease to be family hearing centre and Chippenham and Trowbridge County Court will become a family hearing centre.
1989 c. 41. Part 1 of Schedule 11 was amended by paragraphs 203 and 210 of Schedule 4 to the Constitutional Reform Act 2005 (c. 4).
S.I. 2013/415 provides that a county court shall be held at Chippenham named the Chippenham and Trowbridge County Court.
