The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 38(4) of the Pensions Act 2011(1).
1. This Order may be cited as the Pensions Act 2011 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2013.
2. The following provisions of the Pensions Act 2011 come into force on 13th March 2013-
(a)section 22 (Pension Protection Fund) in so far as it is not already in force; and
(b)the following paragraphs of Schedule 4 (Pension Protection Fund)-
(i)paragraph 1 (introductory provision for amendments to the Pensions Act 2004(2)) in so far as it is not already in force;
(ii)paragraphs 21 to 28 (postponement of compensation); and
(iii)paragraphs 29 to 36 (pension compensation sharing: postponement of compensation).

This Order brings certain provisions of the Pensions Act 2011 (c. 19) into force on 13th March 2013, in so far as they are not already in force.
Article 2 commences the following provisions of the Pensions Act 2011-
section 22, which relates to the Pension Protection Fund;
paragraph 1 of Schedule 4, which introduces provisions for amendments to the Pensions Act 2004;
paragraphs 21 to 28 of Schedule 4, which relate to postponement of compensation; and
paragraphs 29 to 36 of Schedule 4, which relate to pension compensation sharing and postponement of compensation.
(This note is not part of the Order)
The following provisions of the Pensions Act 2011 have been brought into force by commencement order made before the date of this Order.
