This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in SI 2014/1378 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government makes the following Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 131 of the Housing Act 1985(1):
1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Housing (Right to Buy) (Limit on Discount) (England) (Amendment) Order 2014 and shall come into force on 20th July 2014.
(2) This Order applies in relation to England only(2).
2. For article 4 of the Housing (Right to Buy) (Limit on Discount) (England) Order 2014(3), substitute-
"4. Subject to article 3(2)-
(a)article 3 of the Housing (Right to Buy) (Limit on Discount) (England) Order 2012; and
(b)the Housing (Right to Buy) (Limit on Discount) (England) Order 2013
are revoked."

Article 2 amends the Housing (Right to Buy) (Limit on Discount) (England) Order 2014 (S.I. 2014/1378) ("the 2014 Order") which revoked the Housing (Right to Buy) (Limit on Discount) (England) Order 2012 (S.I. 2012/734) ("the 2012 Order") in error. Article 2 rectifies this error by amending the 2014 Order to provide for revocation of only article 3 of the 2012 Order.
An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
The National Assembly for Wales was given legislative competence in relation to the disposals of land to which Part 5 of the Housing Act 1985 applies by the National Assembly for Wales (Legislative Competence) (Housing and Local Government) Order 2010 (S.I. 2010/1838).
