1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the South Sudan (Sanctions) (Overseas Territories) (Amendment) Order 2015 and it comes into force on 12th August 2015.
(2) In this Order, "the principal Order" means the South Sudan (Sanctions) (Overseas Territories) Order 2014(3).
(3) This Order extends to the territories listed in Schedule 1 to the principal Order.
2. In article 3(1) (Interpretation) of the principal Order, for the definition of "the Council Regulation" substitute-
""the Council Regulation" means Council Regulation (EU) No. 2015/735 adopted by the Council of the European Union on 7th May 2015(4) concerning restrictive measures in respect of South Sudan;".

This Order amends the South Sudan (Sanctions) (Overseas Territories) Order 2014 (S.I. 2014/2703) ("the principal Order"), which gives effect in specified Overseas Territories to restrictive measures imposed by the United Nations Security Council and additional restrictive measures adopted and implemented by the European Union against South Sudan.
Article 2 of this Order makes one minor amendment to article 3(1) of the principal Order to update the definition of "the Council Regulation" to give effect to the repeal of Council Regulation (EU) No. 748/2014 of 10th July 2014 and its replacement by Council Regulation (EU) No. 2015/735 of 7th May 2015, which integrates some of the restrictive measures imposed by United Nations Security Council resolution 2206 (2015) of 3rd March 2015 and Council Decision (CFSP) 2015/740 of 7th May 2015 (which repealed and replaced Council Decision 2014/449/CFSP of 10th July 2014).
