The Secretary of State makes the following regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 66(2) of the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986(1).
1. These Regulations-
(a)may be cited as the Agriculture (Calculation of Value for Compensation) (Revocations) (England) Regulations 2015;
(b)come into force on 1st October 2015; and
(c)apply in relation to England only.
2. The following regulations are revoked-
(a)the Agriculture (Calculation of Value for Compensation) Regulations 1978(2);
(b)the Agriculture (Calculation of Value for Compensation) (Amendment) Regulations 1980(3);
(c)the Agriculture (Calculation of Value for Compensation) (Amendment) Regulations 1981(4); and
(d)the Agriculture (Calculation of Value for Compensation) (Amendment) Regulations 1983(5).

These Regulations revoke the Agriculture (Calculation of Value for Compensation) Regulations 1978 and three instruments that amended those Regulations.

1986 c.5; section 96(1) defines "prescribed" as prescribed by the Minister by regulations, and "the Minister" as the Secretary of State in relation to England. The definition of "the Minister" was amended by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Dissolution) Order 2002, Schedule 1, paragraph 27 (S.I. 2002/794)
