The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 53A(2) of the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008(1).
1.-(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Homes and Communities Agency (Transfer of Property etc.) Regulations 2019.
(2) These Regulations come into force on 8th February 2019.
2. The public bodies listed in the Schedule to these Regulations are specified under section 53A(2) of the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008.

Section 53A(1) of the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008 (c. 17) allows the Secretary of State to make one or more schemes for the transfer to the Homes and Communities Agency of designated property, rights or liabilities of a specified public body. These Regulations specify various NHS Trusts for that purpose.
The Homes and Communities Agency (Transfer of Property etc.) Regulations 2015 (S.I. 2015/1471), the Homes and Communities Agency (Transfer of Property etc.) (No. 2) Regulations 2016 (S.I. 2016/515), the Homes and Communities Agency (Transfer of Property etc) Regulations 2017 (S.I. 2017/199) and the Homes and Communities Agency (Transfer of Property etc) Regulations 2018 (S.I. 2018/8) specify other public bodies for the same purpose.
