The Office for Students, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 42(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017(1), makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Power to Award Degrees etc. (TEC Partnership) Order 2020 and shall come into force on 1st August 2020.
2. TEC Partnership shall be competent to grant foundation degree only awards of the kind mentioned in section 42(2)(a) and defined under section 42(3) of the said Act for a fixed one- year term beginning on 1st August 2020 and expiring on 31st July 2021.

This Order, made under section 42(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017 authorises TEC Partnership with the power to grant foundation degree only awards for a one- year fixed term expiring on 31st July 2021. This Order will come into force on 1st August 2020.
An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as it has no impact on businesses and civil society organisations. The instrument has no impact on the public sector.
