Welcome to the belated first issue of JILT for 2006 - an issue that has been substantially delayed due to a change in personnel and unavoidable internal reorganisation.

However, we are delighted to inform you that we are back on track, a second issue for 2006 will be published shortly, and the first issue for the current year will be published in April 2007. None of this would have been possible without the active involvement of the guest editors and our sponsors the School of Law, University of Warwick and BILETA

We hope that the new look navigation menu and slight format changes to the articles will prove useful to our readership and look forward to your feedback.
