AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 4 of THE RAILWAYS ACT, 1933 . |

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS OF SAORSTÁT EIREANN AS FOLLOWS:— |
||
| Amendment of section 4 of the Railways Act, 1933 . |
1.— Section 4 of the Railways Act, 1933 , (No. 9 of 1933), shall be and is hereby amended in the following respects and shall be construed and have effect accordingly, that is to say:— |

( a ) by the deletion of the expression "31st day of December, 1935," wherever that expression occurs in sub-section (1) of the said section 4, and the substitution in every case of the expression "31st day of December, 1937," for the expression so deleted, and |

|
( b ) by the deletion of the expression "1st day of January, 1936," wherever that expression occurs in sub-section (2) of the said section 4, and the substitution in every case of the expression "1st day of January, 1938," for the expression so deleted. |

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Railways Act, 1935 . |

|
(2) The Railways Acts, 1924 to 1933, and this Act may be cited together as the Railways Acts, 1924 to 1935. |
