AN ACT TO AMEND THE DENTISTS ACT, 1928 . |

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS: |

| Extension of peiod of office of Dental Board. |
1.—The term of office of the members of the Dental Board holding office as such members upon the passing of this Act is hereby extended by a period of two years and, accordingly, section 4 (1) of the Dentists Act, 1928 , is hereby amended, as respects such members, by the substitution of "seven years" for "five years". |

| Short title, construction and collective citation. |
2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Dentists (Amendment) Act, 1983 . |

|
(2) The Dentists Act, 1928 , and this Act may be cited together as the Dentists Acts, 1928 and 1983, and shall be construed together as one. |
