ARRANGEMENT OF SECTIONS

1 Number of ordinary judges of Circuit Court.

2 Short title, construction and collective citation.


AN ACT TO ENABLE THE NUMBER OF ORDINARY JUDGES OF THE CIRCUIT COURT TO BE NOT MORE THAN TWENTY-SEVEN.

[31st July, 1996]

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:

Number of ordinary judges of Circuit Court.

1.—The Courts and Court Officers Act, 1995 , is hereby amended by the substitution of the following section for section 10:

"10.— The number of ordinary judges of the Circuit Court shall not be more than 27.".

Short title, construction and collective citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Courts Act, 1996 .

(2) The Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Acts, 1961 to 1995, and this Act shall be construed together as one and may be cited together as the Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Acts, 1961 to 1996.
