I, Micheál Martin, Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 59 and 72 of the Health Act, 1970 (as adapted by the Health (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 308 of 1997 )), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance hereby make the following regulations:

1.         These Regulations may be cited as the Health (Community Pharmacy Contractor Agreement) Regulations, 1996 (Revocation) Regulations, 2002.

2.         The Health (Community Pharmacy Contractor Agreement) Regulations, 1996 ( S.I No. 152 of 1996 ) are hereby revoked.

The Minister for Finance consents to the making of these Regulations

These Regulations revoke the Health (Community Pharmacy Contractor Agreement) Regulations, 1996 (SI 152 of 1996), which specify the criteria and procedures under which the chief executive officer of the relevant health board shall determine the issue of new community pharmacy contractor agreements for the provision of community pharmacy services under the Health Act, 1970 .
