HOUSING (TRANSFER OF FUNCTIONS) (No. 2) ORDER 1993 (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2004.

HOUSING (TRANSFER OF FUNCTIONS) (No. 2) ORDER 1993 (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2004.

The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred by section 23(3) of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1992 (No. 18 of 1992) hereby makes the following order:

1. This order may be cited as the Housing (Transfer of Functions) (No. 2) Order 1993 (Amendment) Order 2004.

2. The following article is hereby substituted for article 3 of the Housing (Transfer of Functions) (No. 2) Order 1993 ( S.I. No. 284 of 1993 ).

“3. The functions of the council of the county of Wexford as respects sections 6 and 7 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1992 , are, in the case of the borough of Wexford, hereby transferred to the Mayor, Aldermen and Burgesses of Wexford.”

This order transfers back to Wexford County Council certain functions performed by Wexford Borough Council, as respects their functional area, in relation to the granting of shared ownership leases.
