HEALTH INSURANCE (AMENDMENT) ACT 2001 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER 2005

I, Mary Harney, Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 15(3) of the Health Insurance (Amendment) Act 2001 (No. 17 of 2001) (as adapted by the Health (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 1997 (No. 308 of 1997)), hereby order as follows:

1.       This Order may be cited as the Health Insurance (Amendment) Act 2001 (Commencement) Order 2005.

2.       The 29th day of June 2005 is appointed as the day on which sections 3 (in so far as it is not already in operation) and 8 of the Health Insurance (Amendment) Act 2001 (No. 17 of 2001) come into operation.
