The Employment Zones (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 2001

  Made 12th July 2001 
  Laid before Parliament 19th July 2001 
  Coming into force 13th August 2001 

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 60 of the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after agreement by the Social Security Advisory Committee that proposals in respect of these Regulations should not be referred to it[2], hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement
     1. These Regulations may be cited as the Employment Zones (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 13th August 2001.

Amendment of the Employment Zones Regulations 2000
    
2. The Schedule to the Employment Zones Regulations 2000[3] shall be amended as follows -

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)


These Regulations further amend the Schedule to the Employment Zones Regulations 2000 by adding, to the Brighton and Hove employment zone, the district of Adur, and, to the Plymouth employment zone, the districts of Caradon, South Hams and West Devon.

These Regulations do not impose a charge on business.
